Group Volunteers

Surrey International World Music Marathon Group Volunteers

The positions listed below are only open to groups and associations willing to take on the job functions as outlined. You will need to fill out the PDF application here and face the completed form into the event for review and approval. If your group is approved to participate in the event you will need to fill in the online registration page for your team. Your designated team leader will be responsible for communicating to your volunteers all event related information and ensure they attend an orientation. We will request you complete a post event evaluation form to assist us with future planning. We look forward to welcoming you and your group to our volunteer team.

• Aid Stations [water stations along the route]

Job Functions: To distribute fluids to the runners/walkers along the route – to cheer & encourage participants

• Communications [radio communicators along the route]

Job Functions: To keep race operations apprised of what is going on along the route – deal with medical situations if they arise
