Course Map

We are excited to announce the new course route for the 2013 Surrey World Music Marathon!  After listening to the feedback from last year’s participants and the local community, we have made many positive changes to the course that will greatly improve the overall runner’s experience.

The new course maximizes the scenic roads and pathways of Green Timbers Urban Forest — one of Surrey’s marquee parks.  In total, the route includes over 10km of park land and greenways for each loop of the course — that’s 20km for the full marathon!  Wow!

The run will start and finish from the Surrey’s City Centre and from the front door of Central City Shopping Centre and Simon Fraser University.  We’ll also take runners through some well established residential neighborhoods.

Much of the route will be closed to traffic and we’ll have numerous Cultural Miles and aid stations.  We hope you enjoy this course as much as we think you will!
