What should I do if I can no longer participate or have been injured prior to the race?

All race registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Can I switch races?

Please send your request to registration@surreymarathon.com. Additional fees may apply.

How do I change my projected finish time after I have registered?

You may send your request to registration@surreymarathon.com stating your full name, new projected finish time and race registration confirmation number or email address.

At the Package Pick Up area at the Weekend Expo there will be a sign directing you to where you can change your corral time.

Is this a Boston Marathon qualifier?

Yes, the Surrey Marathon course has been certified as a Boston Marathon qualifier. Read about it here.

Are there showers or change rooms after the races?

Please arrive ready for your race. There are showers available directly beside the festival site at the North Surrey Rec Centre and there will be change areas available in the Athlete’s tent.

Can I wear an ipod / MP3 player?

Yes, provided that the volume level is low enough to carry on a conversation with the person next to you and hear what is happening around you for safety reasons. What makes our event unique are the cultural music miles and entertainment surrounding the race course, so keep that in mind that there will be performance and music along the route.

Where are the water stations and washrooms located throughout the track?

There will be 1 porta-potty at every water station with at least 10 stations along the tracks. There will also be 10 porta-potties at the start of the route along with the ones inside Central City Mall and Surrey Rec Center. For a map of all the water stations, click here
